Removable Saddlebags
The quick attachment and detachment of the pack to the harness is made possible by the three side release buckles.
Unclip the saddlebags and let your dog rest.
Remove the saddlebags for simplified fitting, at rest stops and for water crossings.

Integrated Water
Bladder Hydration System

The Palisades Pack II is equipped with two hydration bladders, one carried in each side of the pack. In addition to carrying water, these bladders cushion the dog from gear and food within the pack, aid in keeping the dog cool, and can be used to trim and balance the load from side to side.

Compression Strap System

The Palisades Pack II utilizes compression straps. The compression straps are accessed by opening the outside pockets.
grab tabs and pull
Once gear is loaded into the pack, grasp the compression strap end tabs and pull. These will secure the load within the pack allowing for a more comfortable, compact carry.

To release the compression straps, simply pull the release lanyard attached to the two compression strap buckles located within the pocket.
